maybe zone could help me with this.
ok i just downloaded a bunch of new fonts off the 1001fonts.com and extracted them inot my c:\windows\fonts\
but they still dont show up in my photoshop font selector or my powerpoint or anywhere for that matter. what am i doing wrong? cry:
1. Open the Windows Control Panel
(» START » SETTINGS » CONTROL PANEL)
2. Double click on the "Fonts" icon in the Control Panel
(a new window should open and you should see all the installed fonts on your system)
3. Click on the "File" menu and select "Install New Fonts"
(a new window "Add Fonts" should pop up
4. Locate the folder on your harddrive containing the extracted fonts from step 1
5. Double Click on the font file you wish to install and click on the "OK" button
Your font should now be installed and available to all applications using fonts, such as MS Word or PhotoShop.
GOD DAMMIT IT STILL DOESNT WORK!@! i think i just might fukin go ahead and upgrade to XP home .. wish i had pro.. do you think i should go to home edition of XP?
i use font xplorer lite (free) to view and install fonts. you could try using that. just put your fonts in a folder on your desktop where it's easy to find. open font xplorer and go to tools>install fonts. find the folder and voila. even if this doesn't help you install the fonts it's very handy for viewing them so you know beforehand what the font looks like.
HOLY SHIT DUDE! you fukin helped me the most it actually works !! thank you all so much for trying to help and especially a - pek for finding one the works.. thanks man
