MOH:AA slowdowns?

I noticed in the single player in the forest level (6th mission) where you have to destroy the flaks that there is pretty bad slowdown. I was walking out of on of the bunkers and it was really laggy, like it would skip frames and wasn't smooth at all, but my fps counter still said like 40 fps. and it was only in certain parts. Not sure if it had to do with rendering all the tree limbs or not. Does anyone else get this type of slowdown?

If I remember, I think the same thing happend on the begining of Omaha beach where you are looking around at all the guys on your boat, it was really slow and skipped frames, but the fps still said around 40 or so.

I was just wondering if anyone else got the same type of slowdown.

specs:
Athlon XP 1600+ @ 1.75 Ghz
Epox 8K5A2+
512mb Kingston PC2700 RAM
Gainward Geforce4 Ti4200 128mb (275 core, 525 mem)
Hercules Gamesurround Muse 5.1 soundcard
40gb 7200 rpm seagate HDD.
Win XP home

AA is 2x and details are fairly high.

THose are pretty good system specs. No, I myself didn't expirence real big slowdowns on the Ardennes Forest.

Just make sure you are using V1.11 by getting the patch from http://mohaa.ea.com
