ok this is a rant about the recent criticism im recieving about using no fog. since when did that label someone as a hard core cheater i mean it doesnt even help on most maps, since i dont snipe alot. i mean look at other ppl out there, some ppl write hacks that fukin have a chance to ruin the game and i just use no fog and i get flamed like a mother fuker for it. i even have that shit on toggle so if i feel like playing with the fog i can turn the no fog off.. so plz stop being gay and keep flaming me for just using something that came with the game

its not that. just because others are making worse cheats, dosent give you the right to use minor ones like you say you do. if it gives you an advantage like removing fog, then its a cheat. hence you are a cheater and will continue to be talked bad about. just play the game normal. fog is what makes the environment more real.

its like saying that full screen scopes and a different crosshair are cheats since you dont have a dot in the middle of the stock hair.. you see my point , you can call alot of things that dont come stock with the game, like ZNV lightscopes

in my own opinion, i believe that anything (and i mean anything) whatsoever that leaves the stock intention of the game, is a cheat. this means fullscreen scopes and light scopes. the intent of a scope if for it to be round in shape and have some sort of defining lines in it. not fullscreen ones or ones that have night vision on them. also those sesame street skins. thats about as bad as you can get. the only ones i download are ones with real-life counterparts. oh and also, forcemodels should have been totally removed. yes sometimes its cool, but with the way its heading, its just not worth it.
Cheers,
Shifty

If forced models was removed it wouldn
It wouldn't stop a real cheater. They would just make all the axis one color and all the allied another color. In fact it's already been done to get past the anti-forcedmodels in DMZ.
For me it would kill the fun of the game if I had to watch 20 people running around with 20 different skins on.

i personally think no fog gives a HUGE advantage on most soem maps. true on maps like stalin and southern france its nothing. but on snowy park and crossroads it gives too much of an advantage

Why do people complain about 'Force Models'? I know for a fact it increases the fps as it only has to draw two skins, and anybody with a "lower spec PC" should have the option turned on. It should never be classed as a cheat, especially as it is a game option. The only bad thing about it is it does help people who want to use "cheater skins", but that isn't everyone. I like a lot of the custom skins out there, especially the ones based around "real" uniforms, and I wouldn't download any of the stupid ones. i.e. Ronald McDonald, Neon, and suchlike. But in every game you will always get the "stupid minority". You either have to put up with them, or stop playing. I personally hate them, but there's isn't a great deal I can do about them so I just carry on the best I can.
As for "No Fog". That doesn't come with MoH, but is aquired elsewhere and is definetely a cheat.
Scopes and crosshairs on the other hand are a bit of a grey area. I use a single dot, both as my main c/h and in my scope. I have tried both "fullscreen" and circular scopes and I honestly can't say one was improvement over the other. Yes, you do get the extra bit of screen visible with a "fullscreen" scope, but usually I'm too busy focusing on the dot to get my kill rather than look at the edges.

My rule is this:
You guys can discuss cheats. You can talk about what they do, if you like them or not, whatever. But, if you start accusing one another, or talk about hacking servers, etc. I will lock the posts. After that, I don't want to have anyone banned for something stupid like this, so just know what you can and can't say, and that's it.
Cameltoe: If you use one, ok fine. Whatever reason it is, for getting even or for fun, whatever. Just drop it. Pretend your fingers won't let you type that you have one! biggrin:

If you're using the force model option then it can give you an advantage. The germans in the game have varying camo uniforms, while using them they can be hard to spot hiding in bushes etc. Hiowever if you have them defaulted to a specific uniform then you can obviously see them a bit easier since you're only looking for one specific uniform colour to shoot at.

I was born and raised in Newfoundland Canada, known to be the foggiest place on earth (true statement). Does that mean I have an advantage on foggy maps? biggrin:
As long as you can't automatically hit me, see me through a wall, or see me as Ronald McDonald, I really don't care what mods you use. No fog, no bushes, no curtains...none of that will help you when you get a 30 cal bullet in the back of the head...heh heh
