Stalingrad isnt a very big map, and shotguns "do and should" have the advantage on such maps. When your going to play Omaha Beach or some other wide open map, then the rifles have the advantage.

And for the damage thing, its ok as it is now I think. A soldier in in a "life or death" situation wouldnt fall down and die after only one bullet to the chest(unless it hits your hart).
