Default hondas and jeeps? - 01-04-2003, 08:33 PM

well, sense the average price of a used honda and jeep are about the same, i was wondering which is better. anyone have a honda? is it good/bad-i know they last a long time. anyone have or had a jeep cherokee? is it good or bad?
im 16-so its not like i need a new car. i also live in the inner city-so its not like i will be drving through trees and mud. i live in GA-so i dont worry about snow.

thanks

For your location its up to you. Honda's run forever but you'll get the label of ricer, and every other teenager will want to "race" you even if your not into that BS. The Jeeps are well built and depending on the year are pretty well loaded and comfortable.

Me im a fan of smaller cars, so i would choose the Honda. Now if you had said a Jeep Wrangler, my vote would be the Jeep. Wranglers are just bad ass, esspecially pre 94 when they had the square head lights.

I got a jeep 2002 and its real sweet. Its kinda rockey when going over big bumps but it looks nice inside and outside. Have had hardly any problems.

if i got a jeep it would be a TJ because their good in snow, mud & road. plus theiy look good. i woulnt go with a cherokee because they are really bad on gas & their really big, for your first car i woulnt really recomend a big ass suv because if your not very used to parking in tight places & stuff you dont really wanna use a big SUV. a honda? well what can i say? ickky. yea so if i were you i would get a TJ.

Let's get one thing straight.

Honda doesn't equal rice.

Honda with a bunch of stickers of proformance parts it doesn't have equals rice.

I drive a Honda and they are good cars. Alot of uneducated people yell rice because they drive an old pinto and don't like someone with a nicer car then them. As soon as I get a digital camera I will post a pic of my Honda and you can decide.

its the peile with the lowered honda hatchbacks with huge rust holes & load mufflers (probly cause their broken) & shitty tint on the windows & an ass ugly paint job that make hondas look bad.

oh and another thing, with the jeeps..they consume a lot of gas...for your first car i would probably go with a car and not a jeep if you are doing just city driving

go with the accord, make your buying decision based on mileage, car history and prices, also if the buyer can be trusted to give you a fair price...go to the library and ask to look at the blue book price of the car
