actually if I used the spawn fix as a base, then it would make it much easier to make the restart fix script file. does anyone know where i can grab the spawn fix patch? i tried mohadmin.com but didnt see it. thnx.

Druid was actually looking for logfiles of when this happens so he can determin how it was done. Powell, it would be a good sign of faith if you were to PM Druid with how to do this so he himself can work on fixing it. I know you want to do the mod, but like I said before, a fix would be more welcome from someone who doesn't already have a bad rap.

If you really want to do something helpful, great.
PM me the information on how you restarted servers and I'll make a fix for it.
As far as I'm concerned you can have full credit for the fix and an end to this problem.

Also on the note of people crashing servers.
The spawn hack fix only blocks one way to crash servers.
Unfortunately I know of 2 other ways which I doubt can be fixed by anyone but EA games.
