 yeah, I'd have to agree with that.  Modern ships, like the Canadian Halifax class frigates are much more advanced.  The Halifax's can do the same as battleships using their Bofors (I think I spelt that right) with respect to providing artillery support for seaborne assaults.  They are also much faster and more manuverable than the larger, bulky battleships.[/quote:3fe30]

No, but the bofors are automatics, and the bofors on the Canadian frigates are acctully 57mm.
