aye....I've had so far lots of fun in the demo. Some times you have more fun. especially today. both teams were even (not like in some servers where one team has like 10 players and I'm asking someone to switch and they call me a "n00b")
anyway, my fellow teammate (who was alongside me) started using the MG42 and I was with the Sprinfield. I started to pick out guys from across the map. my other teammates saw this and they provided backup to me and the player who was using the MG42. couple guys were looking out the windows on the right and the same for the left. The Axis players then seeing that they couldn't get even close to us, all of them picked up rockets and blew us all. we all laughed our ass off. The first rocket killed me and 3 other guys. damnit!!!
but, those couple minnutes that we were all playing as a team providing back-up to the MG42 guy, was sooooooo sweeeeeeeetttttt!!!
now......you guys share your experiences in the demo.

I love sniping, i like to track my targets to assure my hits i like to play realisticly, not lamely. But i was thinking, you might not find many people that will be a spotter, because who would want to aim down some stairs, while u get lots of frags?

Today i gave cover to three snipers by holding the stairs with a thompson, one was a female on top of the stairs (highest place on the map), the two other were in the room where you can walk from one building to the other.
I was bored cos no axis was shoing up, but it felt good and if the round lasted longer I'd had some heavy fighting.
On an other occasion I joined up with two guys with a shotgun (I was using thompso) and we cleaned the entire building and killing al axis in that builing. They had no cover/back up, so that was pretty easy, but it was fast and efficient!
Loved it!
normally I'm a kraut with a mauser (not the sniper) and play alone cos the map doesn't suit teamplay that good.
But with the new map coming...

Well, when I play, Im what you would call a hunter-killer. I dont bunch up with the rest of my team; I go out and find where the OTHER team is bunched up and take them out on their "own turf". This is a little embarrasing. I was running up the long staircase in the building with the wood plank droping down to the level with the MG42. I get to the top floor and I see no one was there. Im about to turn around and head for the plank when I hear what sounds like a Mauser being worked in a room next to me. So I make sure i have a full clip in my Tommy Gun and jump in gun blazin! I unload the clip into the guy but he doesnt go down. I was like WTF? Turns out he was on my side (Allied) and had picked up the Mauser cause he ran out of BAR ammo. Go figure.

A few days ago, when playing on my favorite line of servers (the MOHAA East X ones, where X is 1, 2, 3 or 4), I had a record of 19-4. Ok, that's pretty good, I'm off to a decent start. I figure by the time I reach 200 kills, I'll easily be at a 2.5:1 ratio. Well, from there I went absolutely berzerk. I killed FORTY people in a ROW without DYING. That brought my record to 59-4. I went 2-2 the rest of the way, making my final record 61-6, and I quit because I had such an awesome record and I didn't want to ruin it. God, that was amazing.
When I take an hour out to play MOH, I normally go 200-70 or something like that. A pretty darn nice record. But, this was just insane. I couldn't keep playing; this was a special moment.
Man, 40 kills in a row. I don't think I'll ever duplicate that again.
Signing off,
QualityControl

When I was in a game of The Hunt yesterday, one guy on the axis team believed that no-one on the allies side could see him! (he had done something to cheat, not sure what!). And to a point he was right. All of us allies couldn't see him EXCEPT ME! (dont ask me how!) Anyway, he was running around with the machine gun and at one point he said he was standing in the middle of the road and was jumping up and down with the rest of my team standing near him trying to see him! I was at the other end of the street with the Sniper Rifle. I zoomed in, aimed and put a bullet in his head! He was pissed off when I killed him since he believed he couldn't be seen or killed!!

maybe you had the same skin he had while all the other allies didn't have the same skin.
if it's not this scenario, no idea then.

That's a bug with the quake 3 engine, heard of the same problems on the RTCW forums.
