Das Boot
SPR
Paths Of Glory
Platoon
Thin Red Line
When Trumpets Fade

Sorry but Enemy at the gates was one one of the worst films I've seen in years, the acting was terrible

well I recon Kelly's heroes was the best war movie I ever saw followed by spr. Kellys heroes had everything-great war action, comedy and story. I mean Donald Sutherland was so funny and Clint Eastwood was really...well Clint

well hamburger hill is the most historically accurate Vietnam war movie. They actually Fought fo that damn hill and damn near all of those events actually happened, yes even the Huey strafing our own troops.....most people didn't like it because it showed the Grim underside of War,not the hollywood "gets to the top and wins" type of CRAP....I love it be cause of it's attention to detail....

Best war movie? Hmm... Maybe you guys ain't thinking outside the box. How about Braveheart, or Gettysburg. Heck, even Star Wars is about a war.

I would've picked Band of Brothers but since they're a mini series i have to say SPR.
I dont really care if it's historically accurate or not but it was still one kick a$$ movie.
