Drink a lot of water before you go to sleep(pass out) if you still have the presence of mind to remember to. And you won't even get a hang over in the first place, it never fails me. biggrin: |

Also true. But drink a LOT of water so that you flush your system. You'll piss every 10 minutes, but its better than waking up the next morning and wanting to die.

Take TWO Berocca's (I'm not sure what they call these in North America) They're real fizzy and wash out your mouth and throat, so you don't feel that sickly, disgusting feel.
Then take an Asprin or two, that will generally just make you feel good. Then drink water to flush the alcohol out of your system.

I do that every morning after a night of drinking, it works WONDERS.

Mind you, I hop on the computer, that might speed it up somehow. biggrin:

P.S, Beroccas are those vitamin pills that you chuck into a glass of water, like an asprin, and they turn your drink into a fizzy, tasty experience!

As far as I can tell, Beroccas = Alka Seltzer. |

Must be something different, then. Berocca is VERY tasty!

It is a matter of prevention. You get a hang-over for two specific reasons:de-hydration and methanol poisoning. There's not much you can do about
the methanol, but there are two things you can do which take care of the
 de-hydration...

1- Drink a lot of water before going to bed: this is a given. Since alcohol is
a diuretic, you tend to lose a lot of water so it IS important that you drink a
 lot of water.

2- Drink something with a lot of electrolytes: gatorade is a very good source.

Like the other said, water before bed, and maybe some Taco Bell. Then the clincher in the morning is a phat glass of V8 baby!

 Antioxidants...yeah! biggrin:

If that fails...then the magic white powder works wonders. evil:
