I also have the same problems, but just today i downloaded the snowy version of "The Hunt"(fog disabled), hosted a game, and i could see everything great. I believe that it is the fog as Cpt knight said, that casues our problems.

on the hunted all i get is a grey screen. i can see a little if i look to the sky. i looked at my sound rec. and playback like a previous post suggested but it doesnt do any good. if i die and respawn it gets a little better but still not enough to play.

I have the same problem on my work computer. That computer has an on board Intel graphics processor. I think its the map because Staligrad plays fine. Maybe its the fog in the map or something, I haven't figured it out.

ok. ive d/l the snowy mod. it does work when i start my own game. can i use it to join games?

oh by the way my card is just an intel 82810 graphics controller. i do have the latest directx driver.

The snowy map works for me when joining other games, if you can host with it then it is properly installed and you should be able to join other's game with it. Look for someone hosting a dm/snowy (not many). By the way, I also have the intel 810 chipset and it is crap. Actually, I have it on 2 of my machines but I installed a PCI video card in the other one because the chipset is easily bypassed if you want to upgrade.

you are prolly going to have to get a gF3 or better if you want the "hunt" map to work correctly....I ran the Stalingrad map great with all graphical options at max...but the hunt is a LOT larger and has weather effects...and my card just plain wouldn't cut it...the graphics were o.k.,but hte FPS ran at 0-10....I have a NVidia TNT2 m64 PRO card and I have to dail back the textures to get my FPS back up....having a GF3 would GUARANTEE your map to work great and the FPS would be astronomical!
