Is it me or something else?

I just began playing online and my kill average is 24 per session.
However, I think I could have a lot more. When another player shoots
me, it only takes them a few hits to dispatch me. However, I have
unloaded clips of ammo at a person with at least 5 or 6 visible puffs
and they don't go down or they go down after I've unloaded. Is it me
or could it be something else?

You might be hitting them in the arms or legs. Try bursts, not full-auto fire.

You cannot go by kills per map allways. There's bad days and good days dude. Is yer ping alot higher than yer opponents?

I tried short bursts and long and hit them in the chest.
Oh well, I will keep trying. Regarding the ping thing,
I have no clue what thats all about. Can someone
enlighten me?

I'd suggest it'd be a lag/ping thing. But it could be something more sinister. How often does this happen?

So let me get this right, high ping is bad? And it happens
all the time, but to a lesser extent on other occasions.

Ping is like sending out a message, then seeing how long it takes to get there, or get back, or some shit. so, yes, High Ping means it's taking ages.

and how do you join?
I believe we may have played together on the field.
What time do you play?
I'm usually on around 12:30 a.m. and between 10
a.m.-1:30 p.m.

1. - I gave myself Captain, because I was School Captain back when i went, and some of my friends still call me Captain, so i figured i'd stick with it. The Rank under my name pertains to posts made.
2 - I don't know about servers. i have a 56k connection, and thus don't even bother trying to play online oOo:
