All this for 10 bucks! -

I made a stop by the Army-Navy surplus store to see if I could find a 101st Airborne patch or sticker, instead a dud grenade and .50 caliber ammo box caught my eye! They were cheap and good condition. I also saw a .30 caliber box and other neat stuff!

You sure it's a dud? Hit it with a hammer to check...
Good bargains though.

Yeah, the ones with blue handles are training duds. The surplus shops out here have boxes and boxes of those things.

Great for storage, though. You can use it for so many things: storage, cooking food, or cleaning. In basic, we filled them with hot water, laundry detergant, and put our LBE belts in there to get the dirt out for turn-in. Worked like a charm.

i have one of those dud grenades, and also i have a practice grenade that i think was from world war two. its in the general shap of a grenade, except its all rock, no spring or pin. i also have a 1943 .50 shell casing and a sweet pair of field glasses (bad condition thought).
