Victory is a word not strong enough to describe such a battle.

I plan on going there someday.

Read "Stalingrad" by Anthony Beevor...or, alternatively, don't.

Stalingrad....The battle that would change the course of history. I salute for those Russians and Germans who lost their lives there.

Id like to think so, they lost in the region of what 20 million people. ed: The closest number to that is germany with around 4 and a half million dead. ed:

You know, I never really realized what the conditions of the war were until I watched Enemy At The Gates. The first 20 minutes said it all, man.

Enemy at the Gates, is an awsome movie. I say to all those people who havn't seen it, GO OUT AND RENT IT, or better yet, buy it.

I also plan on going to a bunch of WWII Battle scences and such. Doubt I ever will see them all. But I promised myself that I would go at least into Europe!

Enemy at the Gates is one of my favourite war movies, I downloaded it a few weeks ago.
Strange that they all had brit accents, I would have preferred a cheap russian one. But then I spose its better than having em w/ hollywood ones..

Vassili Zaitsev is one bad mofo.
