yeah, im sitting on a midrange system. p3 900, 256 pc133, gwrd gf3 220/550, SB audigy and it runs nearly perfect @ 1024 w/details maxed.

you gotta wonder though. it might only be 30 fps for me as well, but its a perception thing. what I think is good, someone else might think is crappy.

FuBarGrn, the default settings for the game are the worst settings ever. All the options in the advanced settings are off or on low or medium which makes the game look crappy in my opinion. Play with the advanced settings and the video and see what I am talking about. The game looks nice when you up the settings but keeping the default settings even at 1024x768 looks unattractive and plain.
I play at 1280x1024 with everything maxed..it looks great.

I have a feeling that when we all buy the full game (next week right ?) That it wont be like how it is at all.

"So I guess I changed some. Sometimes I wonder if I've changed so much my wife is even gonna recognize me whenever it is I get back to her. And how I'll ever be able to, to tell her about days like today. Ah, Ryan...I don't know anything about Ryan and I don't care. The man means nothing to me. He's just a name. But if you know, going on to Ramelle and finding him so he can go home, if that earns me the right to get back to my wife, well then, that's my mission."

I have a

Duron 950 MHz
256 MB PC133 RAM
GeForce 2 MX400 64MB DDR

And it runs fine. The thing is for all you people with new systems and graphcis card, DO NOT use the new Detonator Drivers. if you want an FPS boost use the old Detonator Drivers, they are much, much better.

hey,, i know your problem , it happened to me , i had 256 133 sdram i went to compusa and brought 256 more 133 ram and it works fine now i think this game is a ram eater,, now i dont know if this will sovle your problem but it did mine ,it runs so smooth now... but extra ram would not hurt if you are running windows xp like i'am , and i also took out a lot of microshaft's useless stuff running in the background and that helped alot ,,
