Now that's great. About 5 of those I've actually seen, too! The two worse were this:

1) Fixed a womans PC having problems with her email, so as I'm leaving shes looking at me with a smile, and slides her floppy into her slot CD-ROM tray. hake:

2) Working with a woman trying to get her PCAnywhere running (Symantec PCAnywhere, a program used to connect to another PC remotely)

ME: "OK, so can you click on the "PCAnywhere Waiting" icon, and read me your IP address please?"

WOMAN: "Whats that?"

ME: "It's the number with the four dots. Starts with 149.105. . ."

WOMAN: "OH! 149.105.XXX.XXX"

ME: "OK, now just keep that window open so I can connect, ok?"

WOMAN: ''. . .Oops."

In a matter of three seconds, she closed the damn thing.
