I use photoshop 6, it's a great program, but probably not the best choice for someone just starting out.

yeah, but Photoshop is the best program to use for sigs and it is also the easiest to get to handle out of the advanced editing softwares

that's probably the first time i have seen the texturizer function used and not look bad

Sweet source pic, but you might want to ease up on the filter and do more stuff with it.
