Hey all, I was suring the forums on OGL and saw this, This looks interesting and I want to know your opinions on this. Since I have heard so much from different postings of the samething going on in OGL just voice your opinion. This IS NOT A FLAME I want to make that perfectly clear

Since when are OGL admins allowed to alter rules before a match?
Since when have OGL admins been able to administer NEW rules prior to a match taking place? Tonight - WTF and 5th Airborne went head to head for the number 6 position on the objective ladder. Apparently 2 OGL admins came into the match and ruled that force screenshot mods, and 2 other anti-cheat programs were ruled OK for the match regardless of what the rules say.

1.3. Cheat Detection Software/Utilities [TOP]

At this time the OGL does not support the use of software/utilities used for remote console scanning of game servers for the purpose of cheat detection. The following restrictions apply:

Use of any such software/utilities during a match must be mutually agreed upon by both teams prior to the match. Failure to obtain and document a mutual agreement may result in a technical forfeiture of the match should a dispute be filed against the team in violation.

In the event of a dispute, since such software/utilities are not supported by the OGL, any action(s) taken by such software/utilities during the game, or any evidence they collect shall be considered as inadmissible.

To my knowledge both teams were NOT in agreement to use such software so WHY WERE THE ADMINS ALLOWING CLAN WTF TO USE THESE PROGRAMS?!!!

Not only does taking screenshots LAG the hell out of people during the match but there is also a security issue involved...If they can make you take screenshots at their own will, what ELSE can they do to your computer...

I know when I joined this league I never had to electronically sign a waiver allowing OGL to do things to my computer...

Then there is another issue...DrDukes an OGL admin playing for CLAN WTF at the same time...Tell me there isn't a conflict of interest there...

OGL admins please respond and clarify some of the issues...Several clans are leaving OGL over this tonight so....please let us know what the hell is going on...

Maybe the 2 admins were fakes and were trying to screw up the match. Only conclusion I can come up with.

yea damn them for using anti-cheat programs! They should never be allowed to use anti-cheat programs in leagues... i mean is there any cheats for moh?

lol !!

wake up, cheating ruined moh, they made an attempt to stop cheating for one match, they forced the moh program to take a screenshot of the moh screen, what harm does that do? Besides stop a couple people from cheating? don't worry though, there will always be people like mpowell and others who can bypass any anti-cheat program in about 10 mins. so you are safe...

Yes. Still though, this is rather lame.
