Since the question of mice has popped up here, perhaps I can get a little bit of info from those here(I'll probably post this too in the "off-topic" forum):

I have a logitech cordless mouseman optical, and 2 logitech wingman 3-button gaming mice(I have 3 gaming machines linked together...I know, woe is me ). I was eyeballing the new 2 optic corded logitech mouse. Anyone know how this one would compare? How it feels, etc. ?

The optical logitech mice are very nice bud.
Work like a charm... I don't know about wire-
less but corded work great.

Spray, you can chuck as much vitriol around as you like mate, I care not. Flames, abuse, all entertainment as far as I'm concerned.

Anti-cheat code...it can be done. It's never perfect as the hackers and anti-hackers will always get into a leap-frogging compo.
But the developers owe it to us, the paying stiffs, to engage in that compo with their full resources. Put one guy on it full-time. How long will it be before the hackers get tired?

And the final weapon available...modify the EULA such that it makes a binding agreement between the publisher/developer and purchaser that any malicious modification of the code will expose the offender to massive civil liability.
Then pin a hacker down and sue the scum-bag into perpetual debt. Personally I'd go round to his home and smash both his hands, but that's just me.

Spray n Pray says: >And not to stray too far from the original poster: Harry potter sucks<

Thems fightin words! Hehe

Re mice: I own LOTSA mice. The logitech ifeel, as I posted previously, is lots of fun. I find it comfortable, responsive, and I like the force feedback. The most sensitive mouse I ever had was the Razor 2000, great for sniping, but the shape was so awkward that even after months of use it didn't feel comfortable.

I would never buy a cordless because it is my understanding it would be slower than a corded mouse, which makes sense to me: and why defeat your attempt to get the BEST mouse by getting a feature you probably dont need?

The new Microsoft Optical looks cool, and is supposed to be more responsive than the original Optical Explorer, which I found erratic.

I was thinking of getting it, but I do enjoy the force feedback when it is supported in games, (which is seldom)

Games that I played that were enhanced by ifeel mouse were: B&W, Tribes2, and UT. It was posted that MOH will support it and I certainly hope so.

You won't be missed. And here's an interesting tidbit:

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by SS.SGW-Siggi:
Does acid count? Me and my bro did a nine-hour session on acid about a week ago and cleaned up. Hard liquor was also consumed, but I don't think it connected for obvious reasons.

Perhaps that explains all we've had to endure from you lately.

Spray n Pray: your posting of Siggi's acid comment was low-dog. I'm steppin in here because Siggi's acid comment was a humerous reply to my humerous post re alcohol. Spray n Pray: dont take the fun out of posting by acting like some priggish old maid! Next you'll be burning Harry Potter books!

Siggi - I don't know if your opponents were cheating but I do know that I have been sniped many times just peeking my head out. I assume good snipers know where people peek their heads out! (there are only a limited number of places, after all, and the most popular ones are presumably well watched)

By the way, I LOVE THIS FOOKIN GAME!!!! (and i get my ass kicked regularly, but when i win, o man!)

Well, I'd have to say I was about to flame Siggi a new one, until he apologized, and that was really cool of ya.

But slamming 2015 is a little bit excessive. I think you're looking at the demo with too much expectation. These guys have worked their asses off for well over a year for this game. When it finally went gold, or when the MP/SP demos were released, they went "Whew. Time for a break." So, if I were them, I'd be off vacationing or doing my favorite thing: nothing.

But when the full game is released, I'm sure they'll take the patches with the same vigor as they did in making the game. Post-release is very important, and I'm sure they know that.

If you could look past all your problems with the game: no prone, lack of weapon restrictions, etc. You'd see that the game really is quite good. What IS there is great work. Some of the best graphics I've seen in a FPS ever.

If you don't want to buy the game right off, don't. But don't warez it until you know its going to be an unsupported peice of crap. The guys at 2015 have lives too. They can't stay at work 24/7 and work on prone animations and anti-hack code. Shit, Valve sure didn't do that right off, but since Half-Life is popular, they are still working on making it cheat-free. Nothing will ever be cheat-free, if you ask me. There will always be someone out there who tries to ruin games for others. This is why I mostly only play MP games on a LAN, but thats another topic.

In conclusion - lay off em for a bit. Wait till the game is released, then ream em a new one for being so lax in support.
