BF42 is all about teamwork IN THE PROPER ENVIRONMENT. stay away from EA servers and play on clan server like DOA or XBones, where they are strict and teamwork is used. yup a ton of smaktard plane camping n00bs on pubs servers. Desert Combat is alot of fun...its a modern warfare mod pitting the US vs Iraq...

A little off the subject but has anyone tried any of those texture mods for the game? If so are they any good?

These games are nothing alike. Only the fact that you choose classes, and have to obtain flags. Otherwise, the grapics, sound, gameplay, and vechiles are totally different. IMO, I love BF1942.
