Default Walk-mode trouble - 02-18-2003, 11:13 AM

Sometimes when playing, I become crouched permanently. If I hold down the jump hey, then I stand back up, but I have to hold the key down to walk normal speed, if I let go, then I crouch again. It's very annoying and makes it hard to play. Anyone know how I might be able to fix this?

I've never heard of this in AA or SH. What's your binded key for duck & jump?

It might be your keyboard. Any buttons stuck?

I use the MouseWheel Pressed to Jump.. And sometimes If I jump and accidentally turn the MouseWheel Up (which is an allies for voice taunts) it will do what your describing. I get out of it real easily by pressing the jump button several times in rapid successions.

I have not binded my jump or duck keys. I am thinking about just unbinding everything, i have binds but rarely use them, so maybe i will just unbind everything.

The bad thing is, I can't re-install because disc 1 got broken in half.

On my stupid HP comuter, sometimes the buttons stick b/c the computer is "thinking." For instance, if I try to jump and the computer freezes for a second, it will jump but the computer thinks that I am still holding the space bar down. Yes I know I need a new computer, HP's really Suck!

I stated why I couldn't do that in an earlier post, but thanks anyway Joe.
