Actually, Bush amended Executive Order 12333 of the american Intelligence Code so that "direct action" could be implemented if an implied threat is perceived against the national security. That was what that precision missile strike was on those Al qaeda officials, basically.

The Iraqi people for the most part dont like Saddam. If you remember, he gassed his own people, and is a VIOLENT dictator. You say "What about his election?" The election he created to elect a leader of Iraq. Thats true that he had one, but he was the only candidate.

Basically, lets appease Saddam by giving him France, its not like anyone likes those pussy ass, selfish, ungrateful bitches. Not like anyone would have trouble taking over France.....

No one likes War. War is simply.... Hell. People die, which is never good but sometimes war is needed.

I laugh when you guys talk about Somalia & other instances where US forces were used to restore order. Somalia and Iraq are two completely different wars in the bigger picture. Somalia was classified as guerilla war fare in which platoons sent out sparatically are ordered to take out terrorist leaders and make house arrests. In Iraq's case, we're talking about a full pledged war - Armies against Armies. So basically dont compare war with Iraq to Somalia. Yet compare it to WWII or something that involves a super power.

In my opinion, this War is needed. Are we going to need another Pearl Harbor to realize that Saddam is repeating Hitler? How long will it be before Saddam crushes some little nation like hitler did the Rhine Land? Hes got to be stoped, and a bullet to his head will only worsen problems.
