Default How Do I Make A Passworded Server - 02-23-2003, 07:58 AM

How do I start a game that requires a password? I have cable internet, but it really can't handle a whole lot of people. Also, how would those joining it enter in the password?

in console type set password "whatever"
you do not need to type rcon in frount as the server is hosted on the machine you are using.

If it is not and being run as a dedicated server from an other machine type rcon set password "whatever"

People getting into your server would type "password pass" with no speech marks and then enter into the game the normal way.

Check out http://www.mohadmin.com for all your server needs

You can set a MOTD for MOH:AA
You can not set a MOTD for MOH:SH

You can use autokick to send messages to your server automatically

MOTD= message of the day
