cashier at a grocery store, the 6 hour shift is the worst...3 hours straight, 15 minutes break, 3 more hours straight of standing and acting friendly to mostly rude people/whitetrash that smell of jackets with 10 year old cigarette smoke

oh and the ones who always argue with you about the real shelf price and you have to get a price check and they get mad because you aren't bagging their groceries and people behind them have to wait and a kid is crying really loud and they pay with a 100 for a stick of deoderant

grocery store cashier is the worst. especially retarded customers who think they know how to do your job

God how I hated to work in the grocery store. I worked in one a couple of years ago. Luckily I worked in the frozen/dairy section. That wasn't so bad. I could sneak out the back door and smoke a cig if I wanted. The part that sucked is when it was busy and you have the cashier manager say in her fucked up voice "Frozzen/Dairy, customer service" I would get so pissed at that. It paid for school and now I work in a school.
