I saw where someone from 2015 saying they prefer us not to use the coop mod. I think its sad that the developer dropped coop support in the first place, like everyone else does. And no I don't want to hear how the developmnet would have taken longer or been more expensive - a group of people who weren't even familiar with the code and scripting made a single player map into a coop map in a week. I think game companies need to stop short-changing its customers.

Hear hear! Enough with the lies and BS excuses...stop ripping us off and give us our money's worth. Or don't bother (as usual) and shut your whining traps when we warez your crap code.

Free = worth having. Barely.
£35 = kiss my arse.

err, hey come on

the fact that they did not drop coop in is because it does not function 100% correctly, and needs to have a lot of workarounds for it to work. If 2015 did not program the AI the way they did, scott and I would not have been able to make this mod work.

THANKS to 2015, we have a mod, that is stable enough to be fun with friends, and safe to use.

AND also will be able to be rereleased to work with the final version.

mmm, yes.

he wasnt quite saying that... as he said just a warning and something to cover his own ass.

in time it will get more stable, and bugs will be fixed, but everything cant be perfect

and i wouldnt expect the developers or anyone else to wholeheartedly support us right off the bat anyways, i know i wouldnt.

so you can't go placing blame on 2015 for not including it, or saying whatever they say... as was told to me from Avatar, to make the game work properly with co-op, the maps would have to be totally re-done, and code changed or re-written allover.

and im sure they would like to keep within timeframe.

Just to clarify - I'm not talking about 2015 supporting the MOD, I'm talking about that they dropped coop from the game. I read a interview with someone at 2015 over a year ago, and they claimed coop was going to be in the game - now its not. Seems like that happens alot, and its cheap.
As for the mod, great job and thx.
It just seems to me that with alittle bit more effort, 2015 could have made this coop.
Its a great game and they did a fantastic job, but they stopped short....

well, come on now
that isnt very fair

as it is they are 4 months or so PLUS on there schedule... remember they were going to release it back in november or so?

imagine if they had?

so now tell them to make co-op too... thats probably an extra few months.

would anyone be happier?
i doubt it
