US with Isolationist Foriegn policy:

# of world conflicts - 100's
# or world wars - 2

US with more assertive Foriegn policy:

# of world conflicts - 100's
# of world wars - 0

As far as I can tell, the US only has two rules:

1 - dont fuck with us or our allies
2 - dont fuck with our oil

How hard is that to understand? We have a big ass "beware of dog" sign in our yard. You fuck with the dog you get bit. Simple. The dog isnt the threat, he is a promise. The threat is the dumb ass that swats the dog on the tail.

And you think the USA is a threat, roflmao.

world war II you came in at the end so you didnt really help us considering most of your worries were japan and how many of those did the states start[/quote:5619d]

The one blackhawk down was set in ?? You really seem to know what your talking about here. That tragedy was Somalia, and the UNs mission to Somalia included the US, Australia, Malayans, Pakistani's, Canadians and many more. The mission there was to stop genocide you ignorant fool. Pay attention to the story of the movie, or perhaps read the book. All of the nations involved in that had every right to be there. It was only when US troops started dieing that it became a big issue. Good was being done there, and Clinton and his Administration fucked it all up. They wanted results quicker than possible and made the military conduct missions without proper support. Get your facts straight.

Fact is, if the US didnt stick it's nose where it wasnt wanted then alot more shittier things would be occuring around the world. Get some fucking sense about ya.

N. Korea. They are the ones speaking out so often about nuclear threats, and bombings, etc.

If we ever talk about attacks or bombings, we try to at least do it in a sencible matter, where we aren't scaring the civilians. Although, Bush's statement to Iraq "If needed, we will nuke you" was over the line.

Ya your right, if their intentions were truly to disarm. But the fact of the matter is simple; unlike Iraq there is nothing to gain in North Korea...

I was actually suprised at the votes here.

I would definitley say the USA is NOT a greater threat to world peace than NK or Iraq. I really don't understand why anyone would say that. I take that as sort of an ignorant answer.

I didn't read all the posts because I didn't want to nor do I have the time, but in my opinion NK is the greatest followed by China and Iraq. WHich is the greater threat between Iraq and China I do not know.

Reliable: That was the Marines job. After the Marines left Aidid started killing UN peacekeepers. The final straw was when a CDM killed 4 US soldiers. Soon after, Clinton orders Task Force Ranger to be deployed to Somalia in order to catch Aidid......
