Don't think i'm weird for asking this. I was sitting by my fireplace (actually a pellet stove=alot better) Anyway, i was getting pretty close and I realized the longer you stay infront of something that is REALLY HOT your skin gets pretty ichy. It made me want to tear my skin off from the "ichiness". WHY?
burns suck. I picked up a hot metal stand in chem the other day, and i didnt realize that it had been directly over a burner for a good 20 minutes. You could hear my skin cooking and sizzling, and it smelled like burnt flesh (probably because it was). It was not fun.

It happens also when you're very cold and suddenly your skin contacts with hot and very itchy. W00T oOo:
