I would go for the M4. And if you're buying a MP5 for short range, don't, just use a pistol. M4 and the Mk23 or whatever the hell pistol you said would be a good idea. MP5's are just so unoriginal.

Got me sold.
Anybody know of any 'places' to play in the LA area? Organized groups, events, etc. ?

Just run down the streets of LA screaming " JIHAD!" with your airsoft rifle. I'm sure the cops won't care.

You're probably right, since they seem to be mostly concerned with setting up fake busts and then getting busted for it. Dumbasses.

Fuck you paintball aint real enough.

Thats my paintball gun. Yeah paintball is fucking expensive. That gun itself retails for 500. I got it for 280, then put about 500 into it. New air tank, red dot reflex site, remote, bag, little bits for maintainence. The company who makes it also has an Mp5 is several models.
Who said they had an M-16-A2 airsoft for sale? If you can get some pics I may be interested. I know of some people up here who play and if i can airsoft and paintball i'll be active every weekend. Plus the bits from my M4 paintball gun would interchange.
Also you can get Airsoft way fast. My friends M4 airsoft chrono's at 400+ whereas paintball guns try and stay lower than 300.

[quote="redhawk_six":f690e]anyone know just about how much these would cost:
-MP5A3 with working Tac Light, and folding stock
-HK Mk. 23 SOCOM with Tac Light
-M4A1 with Tac Light
I'd love to get into airsoft, but I only earn $6 an hour, and only work one day a week cry:[/quote:f690e]
found your m4 with tac light

I've never played airsoft so I don't know if I am entitled to this, but I think that paying over $100 for a gun that shoots little plastic BBs is a waste of money. And the one's without orange tips may "look cool" but they are too realistic, if a cop shoots you, they will most likely shoot at you.

hopefully the RAM series of paintball rifles will get popular (and hopefully cheaper!!!) soon.
They look almost like the real thing, load from a 20 rounds mag, and teh CO2 cartridge is in the buttstock.

plycon is in Valdosta Ga.
I was in their store just a couple of months ago. They are also one of the worlds largest retailers of PC cooling and case modding supplies.
airsoft link is
http://www.plyconsarmory.com
pc site is
http://www.plycon.com
they seem to be very friendly and an honest retailer to purchase supplies from.
