This thread is just meaningless ranting by an ill-informed child who wishes to come across as intelligent.

Any mature and educated person would have attempted to present the argument in a way that would prompt a respectful debate. Not in a manner which is degrading and insulting.

I find such blindly one-sided statements extremely inflammatory, especially since they are so hypocritical in nature, considering France, for example, sold Iraq enough weapons-grade Uranium to make three nuclear bombs. Every nation's government has done bad things.

You show me a respectable thread, and I'll show you a respectful debate. Why would I attempt to debate respectfully with a 16 year old who gets facts from biased films.

[quote="Captain Noctis Aeternus":c50ee]. You just remember that their are fields of my brothers whom now lay silenced for eternity, so that you didn't have to grow up speaking German.[/quote:c50ee]

And YOU owe your european allies, and your russian enemies some fucking respect for keeping the axis at bay until you got off your high horse and joined the war.
Its not all one sided. You would probably be speaking german if it wasnt for the allies.

I can't think of a single government in the world which has never been involved in a less-than-ethical exchange at one time or another. Except maybe the government of Fiji.

The United States' grasp is just far-reaching enough that we are involved in more large-scale affairs than the average country. The only nation even coming close to the US in size, stature, and international influence is Russia. And they've been selling nukes to people left and right for years. Along with submarines and lots of other assorted, dangerous crap.

France and Germany? High-level members of both governments have admitted that.. *gasp* ..the nations were motivated by economical involvements in the Middle East. Well I'll be damned. Guess Schroeder and Chirac are oil cowboys too, then.

You want to bash my nation? Bash my fucking nation. But take a good God damned long look at your own group of sissy governments who lack the balls to stand up to any dictator who isn't already shitting in their houses and raping their women and children.

And you Europeans who think you are high and God damned mighty. Get off your horse. We are all equal in the end of things, and my blood runs just as red as yours. You just remember that their are fields of my brothers whom now lay silenced for eternity, so that you didn't have to grow up speaking German. Like it or not, the people of the United States once fought bravely and died just as bravely liberating your nations, and you owe those soldiers, their children, and their children's children your respect. Fucking liberals.
are you insane?

first off......no country, NO COUNTRY has done the same amount of damage to other countries (and thier own) as the US Of A has.
Second.....we owe you our respect?
for what......for dropping to two NUCLEAR BOMBS on Hiroshima and Nagasaki (both Civilian Cities - more then a million casulites of INNOCENTS).
we are high all mighty europeans?
let me ask you this.......where do you originate from? hell no, not from the US, you're roots lay in eiher Europe, Asia or Africa. Thing is........i see americans as europeans that got twisted by a greedy and Nationalistic govorment.
Fine....the one without sin shall cast the first stone. That means NO ONE should be killing anyone.......but let's face it, The US govorment has done a LOT of crap to other countries and finally we are getting tierd of it.
We are getting tierd of being bullied around by Uncle Sam and The Soldiers From the hive.
ok...so there might be a war, what happens after it? have you even given that a thought? i'm afraid of what ruler will be installed in Iraq by the US.

There is a right way to handle the saddam situation and there is a wrong way......bush is doing it the VERY wrong way.

Think About It!

(might just sound like a rambling but it's 06:49 here)[/quote:e4f75]

Are u kidding me? No country has done more damage to itself and other countries then the US. Read a fucking book. Countries such as England, Germany, Russia, Spain, etc. have not only practiced imperialism but have destroyed entire civilizations, cultures, and caused havoc on several races. Yes i understand that US foreign policy is not great., but dont give me that shit that were the rich and arrogant americans who force our beliefs and politics on other countries because there have been countries that have been doing it alot longer then us. Because the US is one of the most powerful countries in the world, it is obligated to act in defense of countries that it has interest in. Every world power has done it and are still doing it. The US is far from perfect but u would be lying if u told me that u thought no other country has commited the same atrocities america has.

By YOU, do you mean the US? Because we weren't on a "high horse" nothing was done to us so why would we want to fight in the war, just as France is saying right now to us? The only reason it took a long time is because that's how long it took for us to become threatened

I think someone assumes I care about changing the mind of some pseudo-intellectual wanna-be who likes to think of the US as the Great Satan.

I think I'm going to take a new attitude towards foreign policy: isolationism.

Let the fuckers burn for all I care. Don't come crying to us when you're knee deep in your own quivering shit.

We're so horrible? Then declare war on us. Sanction us.

Oh wait, that's right. What country is significant enough and has the balls to do any of that? The US would... oops.

So go build your bomb shelters and what not while we chill quietly over here watching the destruction.

Then in fifty years all will bow to the power of the United States of the World and our mighty leader, Bill Gates. Heil.

Yeah I agree with ya Noctis, we should just let all these people on the own, then there would be millions in the middle east, the Balkans, maybe even britain and ireland, then they will call us s for not helping... you just can't win...

also, I am sooo sick of hearing all this "Bush is an idiot, Cheney and Rumsfeld are the real presidents" If you didn't like him, then why did the electoral college elect him? That's what is so great about democracy, you get what the majority of the people want, and if the president displeases you after you vote, don't vote for him the next time! Easy as that. Bush is not that stupid of a guy, he mispeaks often and didn't get great grades in college, but then again, neither did Reagan. And for those of you who think he's a "redneck" maybe you should look at Carter, he was a farmer, George W got rich from buying and selling a baseball franchise, he just happened to be from a rural state, that's all, he's really not that dumb or as rednecked as most of you guys are saying mwah:

It baffles me as a Candian to hear so many of you bitch about the USA when there is so much the world can do to stop it.
It is beyond me why everyone thinks of the US as such a strong independent country.
Strong - They are, but what needs to be realized is that they are absolutly nothing without the rest of the world.
Let me use Canada as an example. The only reason why Canada trades with the USA is because it is convenient. If we really wanted to, we could get better and probably cheaper trade from China, Japan, and India.

I think what I am trying to say here is that the USA's strength is held up buy the rest of the world.

My opinion at least
