Help me plz!!!!

ive had a quick browse on the forum and havent found a thread that goes through this.

i can join a game fine no problems get ito the game no problems play the game no problems.

apart from all my graphics are grey and yellow with a white square grid all over even the player models..

on hunt map i dont get any black but, on stalingrad i get lots of black too.

im running a p3 700 MHz, with 256 MB ram with a 32MB riva TNT2 unltra with latest vid drivers.... tried reinstalling but no joy plz help cause i really wanna to be able to play properly...

You could try to update you're drivers. Or Shut down all backround proggies with str + alt+ del.

tried dx 8.1 last night, all my cards are using different resourceses.

im running win3k so i cant try a new gl setup until they release 1 for win 2k 8(

anybody else had this problem???

Win3k? There's your problem! Isn't that a bit premature to release an operating system?
1000 years early?

Seriously tho, I guess my problem was because I am running Win98. Windows2000 isn't the greatest for running games, that may be your problem there. Sorry, not very good at troubleshooting that OS...

u see i have no textures at all, its all the same greyness with the white grid pattern,

all textures with alpha like bushes and trees i cant see through at all.

so u can imagine how well i can deal with the church yard on the hunt

sorry win2k....

i sit next to a bloke running win2k and he has no probs what so ever we both installed from the same file, cept he has colour and i dont.

its like the game looks like some mad debug mode for testing or something.

right ive tied reinstalling newer drivers for video card, and ive replaced the TNT2 with a geforce 2 mx and i still get the same problem....... 8(

Make sure you have downloaded DirectX 8.1, also there should be AGP drivers for your motherboard. Check the board manufacturer, northbridge chipset drivers can actually make quite a difference...

Also make sure you have up-to-date drivers for your sound card/integrated sound. There may be a conflict between the two devices.

Personally, I have had problems with the DetonatorXP drivers. They make my network card stop functioning, and screw up my system something awful. Try the manufacturer's packaged drivers, or check for an older driver version on various websites... v.12.90 works great for me...

Wicked got it working prpoerly...

This is what i had to do.

Remove all trace of MOH demo and Gamespy.

Then install MOH and Game spy test that MOH works streight away before running gamespy.

then change ur graphics options to ur required settings.

install The Hunt Map and test again.

then use gamespy.

i found if i didnt test it at every stage when i finally came to play the game id get my messed up graphics.

ah well if only posted this in case any 1 else has got the problem.

Yea sounds like the game seemed to forget wherew it had its textures loaded, I was going to say reinstall the game.
