Simple mod edit??

I just need to know how to edit the default mod. All I want
do is edit the clip size and overall ammo amount. Can someone please
help me? I edit the .tk files using notepad, but that doesn't work???

they have to be in pk3 file or it doesnt overwrite

I do use the pk3 files. I open the pk3, then select the weapon
that I want to edit. The .tk files are in there. I just need to know
how to edit it.

Extract the part of the .pk3 file you want to edit, including the folder structure. Edit the .tik files in notepad, and save them. Compress the files and folders to a .zip and rename to user_huge_clipsize.pk3 or whatever, and put them in your MoHAA\main or MoHAA\mainta (for Spearhead) folder. Should work.
Only the files you have edited should be present in the .pk3, more files only will only use up space.

I use WinRAR for (de)compressing .pk3's, by the way.

whatever you do, don't directly edit the .pk3 files that come with the game. you'll screw it up permanently.
