Default Holland Info Needed. - 03-06-2003, 01:01 PM

My new map, now named Holland - 1943, is coming along quite well and I have reached the point of adding in the buildings. I was wondering if anyone can post pictures of Holland during that time or links to any sites. I would like the map too look somewhat accurate when it comes to the building design. I have run a search myself, but haven't found enough info to really get me going on the structures.

Thanks.

hi mate i may be able to help you if you are serious??

im an english guy living near maastricht in southern holland and have managed to find out the following for you:

there is a book called "d-day in zuid limburg" (d-day in southern limburg) that was realised a few years ago.

its authors are Jan Hendriks and Hans Koenen and i believe it was published by uitgeversmaatschappij de limburger b.v.

its ISBN Book Number is 9068200054. now you CAN get this book in English i have been told an its not too expensive.

otherwise use those names (title and author) as a search on freeserve or whatever an you get a bit of info an pics.

However if you want me to scan some pages (the book is 90 pages but i can send some if you tell me what you want-ie market or street etc) i will do that for you as soon as me scanner works-should be the next week i hope.

my email is zaitsev_the_russian_sniper@hotmail.com if you want to email me-if i dont respond within a day or 2 post a message here as i have had problems with the email account.

hope that helps you out??

Zaitsev,
Gulpen,
The Netherlands.

or if you have the BoB dvds or MoH frontline, you can check there
MoH frontline- "needle in a haystack" and "several bridges too far" are great missions
BoB- i think the episodes called "crossroads" (#4 or 5)
