Release Date Isn't 22nd... - Page 2

I keep hearing everyone say that the release date is the 22nd. That is incorrect. It will ship to stores on the 22nd, and it will be available on the 23rd. I went to FuncoLand and they said that i could pick it up at 1030 am on the 23rd because they would be getting it in on the night before.....and FuncoLand usually gets games before retail stores.

Only certain places will have it on the 23rd. Retail stores like Walmart or Kmart wont have it then.

This game went gold a long time ago, I would hope that the stores get there supply early and are only under agreament from EA to sell it on the 22nd. With all the other games that are released right after going gold (RTCW) I can see it not arriving until the last minute and thus, for sale on the next day.
Hey, if it's the 23rd no big deal. We already know it's gold so...

You will see at places like EB and Sotware Etc on the 22nd they probably already have them in thier warehouses, they usually have thier stock in on the release day. Other stores like bestbuy walmart Etc never have new games in, it usually takes a week or so. Havnt you guys ever bought a game on its release day???
