Hi,

i have just started to learn the guitar, i am teaching myself and i was just wondering if any of you know any good sources for free online lessons or good tabs to play etc...

I'm in your same sortof position mate...

But I got Lessons many years ago, forgot it all...

Then dusted it off once and went, shit, Guitar... oOo:

If I were you I'd just get one of those "Learn Guitar for Beginners" books, with the CD's and just go from there...

Make sure it's got a big list of all the chords at the back, so you can look up your favourite songs on the net and play them!

At the moment "I Hear Joo Calling!" by Gob is on my playlist...

*Sniff* Brings back fond memories of Millah and Sloi...

I have got this PC program called electic guitar coach, its quite good, nice simple lessons, with little videos by the side to show u how 2 do stuff...

http://www.guitarnotes.com is a good place for lessons and tab.

best way though is just to pick up the guitar, stick on a song, and play along to it.
