I have a friend that resents the fact i married his old GF. He dated her 18 years before we went out she was married and divorced in the time between. Some people have hard heads. I asked what the statute of limitations was for women but didnt get a reply. I am glad I made my choice and dont give a flying f**k what he says

If it's a very close (best) friend, I agree with Joe. If it is just another friend you hang out with sometimes...a few months might be enough. The friend also has to understand how to game works...
