Yes, it's a delicate situation alright....my advice would be, until you have
properly gauged your friends and the young ladies real feelings....only put it halfway in.

It depends on a number of factors:

*How long did they go out?

*How much did he like her?

*How much do you like her?

*How much do you like him as a mate?

*How would you feel in his position?

*Would he do the same to you?

Use those and sort it out for yourself - Unless someone understands the situation fully, we really can't help you.

OK, the details are as follows; (going mostly by Trippers questions)
*They went out for 2 years
*He liked her a whole heap
*I like her a whole heap
*He's a pretty good guy
*I think i'd be ok with us going out (My last gf broke up with me, then went out with another one of my mates after 2 days...baptism of fire oOo: . The Girl and I have waited 2 and a half months and counting.)
*Yes, he would do the same to me.

Also, as a matter of interest, he has recently gone quite...odd, and amongst other things, sworn off women entirely. Thus i think he would feel pity that i was in love more than anything ed:

so, yeah...that's my quandry

What do you guys think about stealing gf's? I just recently hooked up with this girl and she was apperently in an 8 month (unhealthy)relationship.

Well, then, in that case, why not. If you really like her, and he's really a good friend, then I don't see why he would mind too much... But that's just my opinion.

I think you should wait until the current relationship ends. Otherwise, you would be "the other guy" and her current bf might decide that he doesn't like you stealling his girl, and you could end up in a lot of trouble.

Are you serious with this question? Go for the girl dude...you're not gonna marry the guy. The bottom line is the relationship is over so she's fair game. Any guy should understand this and accept it. If he doesn't, he's probably a jealous bastard and feels insecure.
