made and textured this in about 2hrs the other day, and im working on the tik now, so that it replaces the colt and still works as an smg. once i get the bones in it should be done, sometime next weeks

yes because the Uzi is a automatic machine gun and your making it replace a colt 45 doesnt seem right thats just my thoughts

this was gonna replace the same gun for both teams, but theres a problem making it replace an SMG, which the uzi is. theres a file for 1st person anims, which loads the viewmodel for each gun. in the smg file, its got all the files for the thompson and mp40, the pistol one loads all the files for the colt, p38 and silenced. i copied the colt viewmodels over the thompson ones, but ingame the gun wouldnt show up. without changing those files, your hands still appear like your using the thompson. and id have to change the file for the 3rd person anims, otherwise other people would see you holding the uzi like a thompson.
im making loads of modern guns anyway, and ill have an L85-A1 [british smg] to replace the thompson, and mp5 for the mp40. other guns im doing are psg-1 and sg551 for the sniper rifles, M4 and AK or steyr for the MGs, uzi and socom 45 for the pistols [socom does about 300% of the uzi damage each shot], incendary nades to replace smoke nades, HE nades to replace both team's nades, and that shotgun off SoFII to replace the shotgun [m90?]. for rifles ill probably use an m1 [that one the police use, the white rifle in rogue spear] and an RPG as the rocket launchers.
so its almost like the SoFII weapons in moh, apart from the S80

wont you help the bob mod? coz they seek ppl who can do weapons ingame, and you are very good
btw: isnt it possible to change the position of the hands?
i mean make a new "handposition", not the pistol or the smg ones, a totally new

well, you could make it so you hold to uzi with 2 hands..

Dude, those last four images were of the Steyr TMP and Mac-10. The IMI Uzi does not have a verticle handle. He could however convert it into a Micro/Mini Uzi and add the folding handle.

when i replace the thompson with it, his right hand was about half a ft infront of the gun. if i could then id make a new first person anim with his hands nearer, but then all the anims, reload etc would need to be changed
it was about 2am when i was looking at the 1st person anim files, so it was hard to even read the stuff. ill try it again today, and see if i can get it to overwrite the thompson. if it does, then the uzi will replace both SMGs, and i can have a socom and M92f to replace the pistols. then the S80 can replace the rifle, and all the weapons would be replaced better than if the uzi had to replace the pistols. if i cant get it work, the uzi will have to be sem-auti, but still have a 30round mag. i cant get the pistol to fire full auto. saved the thompson tik, but loading the uzi files as colt45.tik, and then the weapon just doesnt fire at all.
i should have it working by tonight tho, either as a pistol or SMG

Or you could add a silencer. The Uzi had a rather large silencer.

yes. but client side it will only be a semi-auto pistol, like the colt. it would take too long to make it replace the thomspon, and i cant get it to work auto as a pistol.
im making a socom no aswell tho, and thatll replace the german pistol. i just need to skin it now
