make sure the comp you are setting up the DMZ to has "Specify an IP" as its network settings. Also check DNS, and Gateway configuration. Make sure the DMZ is set up for the IP of the server computer, which needs to be specified. (no DHCP)

If you have a dynamic IP, you can't turn off DHCP can you?

You don't need to turn off DHCP at the router, just at the comp you are setting a DMZ up to. As long as the settings are correct, the router will still recognize the comp.

As long as you click the "use gamespy" check box at server setup. Personally, I haven't gotten it to show up on ASE tho.

what i was trying to say was, If he were to launch gamespy and try to "join" a game. Dies it let you into the game to play. Or can you not join games too.

Well, that's generally what Gamespy is for, joining games...

Why would he NOT be able to join? Are you saying he is trying to join the game he is running, on the same LAN? Or is he trying to join a remote game, while running a server on his LAN? Or is he trying to join a remote game, without running a server on his LAN?
