Default My game... =( - 04-18-2003, 04:49 PM

Grrr... lately, when I have been playing MOH online, the game just quits to the main menu, you know, the room with all the options. It gives no error message, nothing in console about why it quit, nothing. I am clueless. Has this happened to anyone?

BTW, it has only started doing this recently. I am wondering if it could possibly have something to do with the fact that recently my brother has started playing the game too. We have two computers, about 20 feet from each other, and we both play at the same time using a router, and one of the two game cd's at both. I don't know how this could affect my game, but I just thought it might be a good thing to know.

well if the server you are playing on either kicks you or switches maps and you dont have that map that it switched to then it will do that

Yea, it is the exact same thing that happens when the server switches to a map that you don't have that happens to me, but this is happening in my clan server, I have all of the maps there and more, and they would never kick me anyway. It only really seems to happen if both me and my brother play at the same time, that is the only time I've noticed it, I'm thinking it has to do with a glitch in the router we're using or a simple incompatibility of the router with the game.

No no no... I can rejoin the game almost instantly after I get disconnected, I type "reconnect" in the console, and it sends me right back in, and it will be the same map it was on when I was kicked. Besides, I have alllll the maps and mods unzipped and either in my main folder, or in a folder where I store stuff until I want to put it in my main folder (and no, I don't have any of the maps in that folder oOo: ) I will be "kicked," and I sometimes walk over to my brother's computer to see if they kicked me or if the map changed or what not, and his screen shows the same map, and nothing about me being kicked in the console. It just has me "lagged out" with a ping of 999 and my character running in place where I last was before it gave me the boot. And I know it isn't a ping/lag issue, because it happens in almost every server I join, and it still happens if I have a ping of 50 in a server. And about switching routers, I really hope that isn't neccessary. I already did have to switch routers once, because I couldn't play my PS2 online with my old one. We tried the port forwarding, but that didn't solve the problem. So we bought a Linksys, and the PS2 worked perfectly from the start. If I have to buy a new router I'm going to be royally pissed mad:

Wel i dont no then. Maybe you are being kicked. Is it the same server and do you get bad ping. It has been known for people to be kicked from servers even without an admin(for the server) to be kicked! eatthis:

It's every server I go to, including the one I'm admin on lol. I am out of ideas, I guess I have no choice but to deal with it.
