1. Wrong, A Renault's armor was horrible compared to that of a Panzer, and it had a smaller cannon.
2. True, but they were crap.
3. True, but they weren't dispersed correctly by Leadership, and they weren't prepared for a Blitzkrieg enforced by Germans, because they thought the Maginot line would hold. The Equipment they had was outdated and they had none what so ever Anti Armor rifles that could penetrate German " Blitzkrieg " Tanks, or hold them off.

in mid 1940 the germans had about 50 Pz. IV's. The rest were II's and III's. French tanks had better armor than german tanks but the guns were a little weaker although not much. The real thing was airpower and the luftwaffe totally outmatched the French in nearly ever category, although the French Dewoitne 240 was a match for the 109. Also germans had combat experience which the french lacked except maybe for colonial troops...

French got their asses kicked because they were still thinking in WWI terms of positional warfare, not mobile, like the germans. The French wasn't able to deal with the mobility of germans very well, since they thought that sitting back and letting them come to them was the way to win the war...which was the way in WWI, but not II.

Germans also used their tanks in formations to break through, while the French, if they used tanks at all, used them one by one.

And the maginot line only faces one way, so once they get past it using the spearhead of the tank, their home free.

Simply put it this way. Put any country one on one in World WAr 2 and the Germans will always win.

And the French air force was basically non existent.

I might be wrong Blitz, but I think Pz IV's were produced in early 1936..I think they had more than 50. I don't know, you seem that you know more about German Tanks than me..so a Thanks in advance if I'm wrong.

Well, to be honest, Scrotum has been slightly anti-american ever since the war kicked off, with the news posts about America, the president, and all the things against it. That, I really don't care about, since it's news and it's not really racism, just a fair opinion.
