DaveTinCT is Offline Member Posts: 77 Join Date: Jan 2002 Location: Brookfield, CT USA	01-15-2002, 02:42 AM Most of the 30 man squads who landed on the beaches at Normandy carried mainly Garands (if they didn't sink to the bottom of the Channel) or Thompsons or M1 Carbines. Each group typically had a BAR or two but snipers were fairly few and far between as far as I know. When it comes to that level, I'll be sticking with my Garand. Dave T
