in 8th grade we went through 12 french teachers in 5 weeks, until we found one that could actually control us (plus she was hot)

Our french teacher got clocked up the head by a chalkboard duster by an unknown assailant from the back of the room, called us a pack of bastards and went running out crying. 2 of our irish teachers took nervous breakdowns, nuff said really. oOo:

Last year, my French teacher got in a car accident, which sucked because he was cool, so we went through a ton of subs. Eventually we got one that we all hated, and he stuck around for a few months. About 2 weeks before school ended, one kid punched him in the face because he was accused of just throwing paper across the room. He came back and he was kind of skittish, and paranoid. He also never gave us our final so we all had to retake French 1...

I've only had 1 cool sub, he made us balloon animals (corny, yes) but he was cool. The only downside was we had to call him Commisioner (sp?) Schpeilman.

Does anyone else find it odd that almost every substitute teacher goes by something like "Mr. B" or "Ms. D" ?

i once had this substitute named Ms. Stegmond, she was an old black woman about the age of dirt,jk she was about 67, anyways she was talking to the class and holering at us and this was when i was in the 1st grade btw. She was hollering and going on and then all of a sudden she came in my face and started speaking jibberish and i heard nothing she said but then all of sudden, a big peace of meat came out of her mouth and smaked me right on the side of my forehead. I was like ewwwwwwww and i wanted to get back at her so bad man, u just dont know how bad. She had just finished eating breakfast too so the meat was about 20 mins old. The old bag didnt apologize either mad:

I wonder if she still is a teacher.... Teachers have it rough these days-especially substitutes.[/quote:29002]
Soooo true. It takes nerves to be a substitute. Nerves or lack of money and stupidity.[/quote:29002]

I was a chem TA in my senior year and when we had a sub I threatened to beat with a yardstick anyone who acted like a moron. Considering that I am a fencing master and "killed" a couple classmates in friendly yardstick fencing, everyone was civil to the subs biggrin:

Our fencing instructor is a guy from Germany.
