Default Console problem- need help - 05-19-2003, 12:16 PM

I find when joining a game online that my console is automatically enabled. Going to 'main ' ettings and unchecking it only works until the next time I am killed, whereupon the console is automatically enabled again. Is there any way just to turn it off without it turning itself back on? It interferes with my chat button- a real pain in the ass!

Thanks-

OldFrenchy

More than likely, you have to change it manually in your config file, but this might have to do with thr servers you are playing on also. First thinkg I would try doing is jumping into the .cfg file and change the option from "1" to "0".
