Default Moving Layers in Photoshop - 05-22-2003, 12:46 PM

Hi, im playing about at making some skins and i have a question. For example...

In Adobe Photoshop i have placed a logo onto my skin but once i look at it in game, it looks distorted which means i will need to move it about on my skin to get it to look right.. Right? Right! Theres just one problem, after ive saved the tga i cannot go back into photoshop and move the logo about because all of the layers have been locked into one layer. How can i overcome this so i can move the logo, say to the left a bit? Ive tried selecting it and moving it but after i have done that, it cuts out the background so there is nothing there(represented by checkered squares)

You have to save it as a .PSD before you save it as a .TGA. By saving it as a .PSD, you can go back and move the layers around as needed.
