Should we Americans all be experts with firearms because of our laws about gun ownership?

I wish that were true. There's too many idiots over here that feel they should own a gun just because ownership is protected by our constitution, and they don't have a clue regarding the proper protocols and etiquette and safety regarding gun ownership. These are the same people who decide to sue the arms manufacturer because their own child stumbled upon their gun and shot themself with it, or shot their sibling, or shot the neighborhood bully.

But for the most part, yes, a lot of Americans are good with guns because almost anybody over the age of 21 with a clean record (sometimes less) can legally obtain one. But as we all know in America, government laws won't stop those who REALLY want one.
