hey, how do i go about upgrading the cpu on my comp? how will i know my motherboard will support it?
I have a p3 600mhz cpu, ASUS Kestrel mobo, and windows 98.

you have to find the specs for your motherboard on the website, then it will tell you how high you can go, most of the time you have to buy another mother board.

Well, I was able to bump up my cpu twice on my ABit Mobo. This would vary according to each mobo. I'm maxed with an 850mhz cpu.
