R3skeEn,
The snow map you want is in the game. Haven't you seen screens?

There will be a sort of desert map thing, African buildings mostly.

How about that map in the very begining of Saving Private Ryan where the allies get slaughtered on that beach. That would be great map to play multiplayer on!!!!!!!!!!!

Atleaset some skins or weapons, some kind of co-op mission with some russian inteliigence, maybe see some Japanese presence in the game, guys agree?

Well, I was waiting for a thread like this..

PACIFIC CAMPAIGN

1)Guadalcanal, the Solomon Islands (USMC)
2)Bougainville, Solomon Islands (USMC)
3)Tarawa (USMC)
4)Peleliu (USMC)
5)Iwo Jima (USMC)
6)Okinawa (USMC)

EUROPEAN CAMPAIGN

1)Omaha Beach (1st DIV)
2)Ste.-Mere-Eglise (Airborne)
3)Pointe du Hoc (Rangers)
4)Lorraine (Patton's 3rd Army)
5)Alamein (Monty defeats Rommel-Africa)
6)Market-Garden,Arnhem (Airborne,Brits)
7)Ardennes,Bastogne,The Bulge (Airborne ground offensive)

I know these battles would be hard to recreate in a game, but this is my wish-list

uhmm just a question. not trying to rain on any parades or anything but.

why are people trying to "recreate" "battles". The Q3 engine, although powerful cant do outdoor terrains well enough to have massive maps. Also dont forget, this isnt a simulation it is a first person shooter.

That said i find this game to be alot like counter-strike only not as cheat ridden and with a better feel, theme, and beleivability.

If you want a ww2 simulator play ww2online?

Dieppe obviously, to at least model how difficult it was for RCR to storm the beach.

Gallipoli - As long as it's not forgotten that the Blue Batiste (Newfounland Regiment) fought alongside the Aussies and New Zealanders. (This was before they were part of Canada.

Stalingrad - Probably the greatest battle of war. German war machine literally choked on the bodies of Russian Soldiers. Attrition at it's worst. Would make a great sniper's level though. Large bombed out city.

Remember Dieppe

this is the only one i think(thats been mentioned) that is recreatable. damn them for not releasing the DVD set for band of brothers yet.

although, ehh i dont think you could recreate that to scale thats for sure. would have to be a bit smaller with less buildings IMO.

A *good* Stalingrad
Kursk
Warsaw
Kiev
Berlin
El Alamain
The Maginot Line (turn the tables on the Germans.)
Budapest

Agh..but most of them would make no sense, since Americans didn't do anything in any of them.

I've only got one map on my wish-list! (and I have said it before)!

Gallipoli!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why? Because I want to have a map that involves mainly Aussie's and Kiwi's and NOT just Yanks and Poms! And because the map would have to involve these things:

1). Storming the beach (kinda like Omaha!)
2). Attempting to scale the cliffs WHILE being shot at!
3). Running across hill tops to reach Chunuk Bair! Again while being shot at!
4). and the best part, Trench Warfare!

SO, as you can imagine, it would be a BLOODY HUGE map and a shit load of work would be involved in making it since it happened in WW1 and therefore it would need new models and skins!
