http://mfiap.com/airsoft/wa-g3a3-rt.htm 85.00 <-- sounds too damn cheap

http://mfiap.com/airsoft/g3a3_s.htm 175.00

http://mfiap.com/airsoft/xm177e2_s.htm 175.00

I'm thinkig of getting an airsoft, but I don't want to spend $400+ on an electric one when I could go out and get a decent real firearm for not much more. any suggestions?

I always loved the M16 layout, and since the M4 Carbine is practically the same, I'd go with that.

Does anyone think any of the airsofts on ebay are worth a look? from what I see, you don't really know what your getting. a new one would probably be the best bet.

I don't know, I saw this sweat ass M4 aeg package on ebay the other day. Came with a customized spec ops M4, complete with extra mags, batteries, charger, etc, a kevlar helmet, and an airsoft tactical vest. Would have bid on it, but it was in the states.

The way the bolt is designed for the G3A3 is for the real metal verision, meaning there's a ton of stress on the center of the rifle. It'll split the plastic verision right down the middle. Every person I know that has purchased a Spring G3A3 ; it broke.

That's why when I get my first Airsoft rifle, I'm putting in the extra money and getting a Classic Army real metal AEG (probably an M4 RIS or MP5A3). It might cost more, but at least it won't break as easily as those plastic springers.
