When pledging for our fraternity, a brother sat us in a closet with no lights on, and made us sort out M&M's by color, while wearing boxing gloves, and had the Popeye The Sailor Man theme on loop. I think we were in there for two hours, then my pledge brother flipped out, lol

Speaking of weird US Army and Government torture or interrogation procedures, in the Korean War whenever the US Army would capture a high ranking Prisoner they would set them in a room with a fireplace in it, for certain reasons. The Prisoner would be tied up by his hands so his back was towards the fire.
" Now tell us where blah blah is, OR we'll burn you with some coals from the Fire."
If the Prisoner would resist, the US Army being the good guys and never usually hurting Prisoners in Interogation would only lay a really cold steak of meat on the Prisoner's back. Since the Prisoner would be expecting the Fire, he would pressume the deafly cold steak of meat was actually the fire and would give up all the information without actually being hurt.
