So the surround option is only for gamers with a center channel, right?

Also, what cambridge systems do you guys have? The older fps2000 or something, or the newer inspire systems? I was under the impression that the older generations weren't that great for the price you pay. I could be wrong on that too, and a lot has to do with the person listening. I have a logitech z-560 4.1 400W setup and its *decent* I just need to turn it from 'surround' to '4 speaker' in mohaa options.

I have a SBlive 5.1 and Creative fps1600 speakers but I can't get surround sound in MOHAA. It's like I'm playing with 2 speakers. What could be the problem????

Ok, I can understand not caring in games on teh PC(I find their surround sound options to be VERY lacking for PC's) but for MOVIES TOO???

If you heard my Yamaha RXV2092 with 2 Polk RT3000 for my mains 2 RT2000's in the rear a CS400 in the center and two F/X500's for my front surrounds(my reciever is a 7 speaker setup, not 5, it mixes two front surrounds that go above the mains near the ceiling) you would shit your pants and NEVER want to watch a movie anywear else.

I HATE goign to theaters because their theater systems are BELOW mine!!!

Yes, headphones are definitely better at picking up footsteps. Since I got my Audigy the 3-D positional audio is just awesome.

The only thing is I can't hear my fiancee tell me from the other room that she wants to knock off a slice. =)
